9 They will pay the penalty of eternal destruction(A) from the Lord’s presence(B) and from his glorious strength(C) 10 on that day when he comes(D) to be glorified(E) by his saints(F) and to be marveled at by all those who have believed, because our testimony among you was believed. 11 In view of this, we always pray for you that our God will make you worthy of his calling,(G) and by his power fulfill your every desire to do good[a] and your work produced by faith,(H)

9 They will be punished with everlasting destruction(A) and shut out from the presence of the Lord(B) and from the glory of his might(C) 10 on the day(D) he comes to be glorified(E) in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you.(F)
11 With this in mind, we constantly pray for you,(G) that our God may make you worthy(H) of his calling,(I) and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness(J) and your every deed prompted by faith.(K)
