¹⁰ All the officials and all the people brought their contributions gladly,^(A) dropping them into the chest until it was full.

³ The king contributed^(A) from his own possessions for the morning and evening burnt offerings and for the burnt offerings on the Sabbaths, at the New Moons and at the appointed festivals as written in the Law of the Lord.^(B)

⁸ His officials also contributed^(A) voluntarily to the people and the priests and Levites. Hilkiah,^(B) Zechariah and Jehiel, the officials in charge of God’s temple, gave the priests twenty-six hundred Passover offerings and three hundred cattle.
