Ahaz Succeeds Jotham in Judah

28 ^(A)Ahaz was twenty years old when he became king, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem; and ^(B)he did not do right in the sight of the Lord as David his father had done.

^2 (A)He did right in the sight of the Lord, and walked in the ways of his father David and did not turn aside to the right or to the left.
