¹⁹ Then ^(A)they burned the house of God and broke down the wall of Jerusalem, and burned all its fortified buildings with fire and destroyed all its valuable articles.

²⁷ But ^(A)if you do not listen to Me, to keep the Sabbath day holy by not carrying a load and coming in through the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day, then ^(B)I will set fire to its gates, and it will ^(C)devour the palaces of Jerusalem and ^(D)not go out.”’”

¹³ And he ^(A)burned the house of the Lord, the ^(B)king’s house, and all the houses of Jerusalem; even every large house he burned with fire.

⁴⁷ and say to the forest of the Negev, ‘Hear the word of the Lord: this is what the Lord God says: “Behold, I am going to ^(A)kindle a fire in you, and it will consume every ^[a]green tree in you, as well as every dry tree; the blazing flame will not go out and ^[b](B)the entire surface from south to north will be scorched by it. ⁴⁸ And all ^[c]mankind will see that I, the Lord, have kindled it; it will ^(C)not go out.”’”
