¹⁷ Therefore, if anyone is in Christ,^(A) the new creation^(B) has come:^[a] The old has gone, the new is here!^(C)

¹⁵ Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything;^(A) what counts is the new creation.^(B)

²³ to be made new in the attitude of your minds;^{(A) 24} and to put on^(B) the new self,^(C) created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.^(D)

⁵³ For the perishable^(A) must clothe itself with the imperishable,^(B) and the mortal with immortality.
