¹⁴ They also took away the pots, shovels, wick trimmers, dishes^(A) and all the bronze articles^(B) used in the temple service.

⁷ Moreover, King Cyrus brought out the articles belonging to the temple of the Lord, which Nebuchadnezzar had carried away from Jerusalem and had placed in the temple of his god.^[a](A)

⁶ The time will surely come when everything in your palace, and all that your predecessors have stored up until this day, will be carried off to Babylon.^(A) Nothing will be left, says the Lord.

⁵ I will deliver all the wealth^(A) of this city into the hands of their enemies—all its products, all its valuables and all the treasures of the kings of Judah. They will take it away^(B) as plunder and carry it off to Babylon.

¹⁶ Then I said to the priests and all these people, “This is what the Lord says: Do not listen to the prophets who say, ‘Very soon now the articles^(A) from the Lord’s house will be brought back from Babylon.’ They are prophesying lies to you.

³ Within two years I will bring back to this place all the articles^(A) of the Lord’s house that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon removed from here and took to Babylon.
