²⁵ Then David built there an altar to Yahweh and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. ^(A)Thus Yahweh was moved by the entreaty for the land, and the plague was checked from being upon Israel.

¹³ ‘Thus My anger will be spent, and I will cause My wrath against them to be at rest, and I will be ^[a](A)appeased; then they will know that I, Yahweh, have ^(B)spoken in My zeal when I have spent My wrath upon them.

¹⁷ And I will also strike My hands together, and I will ^[a](A)cause My wrath to be at rest; I, Yahweh, have spoken.”

⁸ Then He cried out to me and spoke to me saying, “See, those who are going to the land of the north have ^(A)caused My Spirit to have rest in the land of the north.”
