⁴ and the fourth, Adoni′jah the son of Haggith; and the fifth, Shephati′ah the son of Abi′tal; ⁵ and the sixth, Ith′re-am, of Eglah, David’s wife. These were born to David in Hebron.

⁶ While there was war between the house of Saul and the house of David, Abner was making himself strong in the house of Saul.
