⁴ in whose case ^(A)the god of ^(B)this ^[a]world has ^(C)blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that ^[b]they will not see the ^(D)light of the gospel of the ^(E)glory of Christ, who is the ^(F)image of God. ⁵ For we ^(G)do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bond-servants ^[c]on account of Jesus. ⁶ For God, who said, “^(H)Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has ^(I)shone in our hearts to give the ^(J)Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

⁵ And ^(A)the Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not ^[a]grasp it.
