³⁸ how God anointed^(A) Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing^(B) all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.^(C)

³³ he has fulfilled for us, their children, by raising up Jesus.^(A) As it is written in the second Psalm:

³¹ For he has set a day when he will judge^(A) the world with justice^(B) by the man he has appointed.^(C) He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.”^(D)

²³ that the Messiah would suffer^(A) and, as the first to rise from the dead,^(B) would bring the message of light to his own people and to the Gentiles.”^(C)
