Acts 11:17-19

17 Therefore, if God gave them the same gift that He also gave to us when we believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, how could I possibly hinder God?”(A)
18 When they heard this they became silent. Then they glorified God, saying, “So God has granted repentance resulting in life[a] even to the Gentiles!”(B)
The Church in Antioch
19 Those who had been scattered as a result of the persecution that started because of Stephen made their way as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch,(C) speaking the message to no one except Jews.

17 So if God gave them the same gift(A) he gave us(B) who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could stand in God’s way?”
18 When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying, “So then, even to Gentiles God has granted repentance that leads to life.”(C)

19 Now those who had been scattered by the persecution that broke out when Stephen was killed(D) traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus and Antioch,(E) spreading the word only among Jews.
