¹⁸ When they heard this they became silent. And they glorified God, saying, “So then, God has given repentance resulting in life even to the Gentiles.”^(A)

⁵ When our time had come to an end, we left to continue our journey, while all of them, with their wives and children, accompanied us out of the city. After kneeling down on the beach to pray,

²⁴ whenever I travel to Spain.^[a] For I hope to see you when I pass through and to be assisted by you for my journey there,^(A) once I have first enjoyed your company^(B) for a while.

⁶ and perhaps I will remain with you or even spend the winter, so that you may send me on my way wherever I go.
