37 But the one God raised from death did not rot in the grave. 38-39 Brothers, understand what we are telling you. You can have forgiveness of your sins through this Jesus. The Law of Moses could not free you from your sins. But you can be made right with God if you believe in Jesus.

38 “Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you.(B) 39 Through him everyone who believes(C) is set free from every sin, a justification you were not able to obtain under the law of Moses.(D)
