⁴³ And the gathering^[a] having been released^[b], many of the Jews and of the worshiping proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas— who, speaking to them, were persuading them to continue-in the grace of God. ⁴⁴ Now on the coming Sabbath, almost the whole city was gathered together to hear the word of the Lord. ⁴⁵ But the Jews, having seen the crowds, were filled with jealousy. And they were contradicting^[c] the things being spoken by Paul, blaspheming.
