43 And after[a] the synagogue had broken up, many of the Jews and the devout[b] proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who were speaking to them and[c] were persuading them to continue in the grace of God. 44 And on the coming Sabbath, nearly the whole city came together to hear the word of the Lord. 45 But when[d] the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy, and began contradicting what was being said by Paul by[e] reviling him.[f]

New International Version
43 When the congregation was dismissed, many of the Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, who talked with them and urged them to continue in the grace of God.(A)
44 On the next Sabbath almost the whole city gathered to hear the word of the Lord. 45 When the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy. They began to contradict what Paul was saying(B) and heaped abuse(C) on him.
