9 But Saul, also known as[a] Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked him straight in the eye 10 and said, “You’re full of every form of deception and trickery, you son of the Devil, you enemy of all that is right! You’ll never stop perverting the straight ways of the Lord, will you? 11 The[b] Lord is against you now, and you’ll be blind and unable to see the sun for a while!” At that moment a dark mist came over him, and he went around looking for someone to lead him by the hand.

9 Then Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit,(A) looked straight at Elymas and said, 10 “You are a child of the devil(B) and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord?(C) 11 Now the hand of the Lord is against you.(D) You are going to be blind for a time, not even able to see the light of the sun.”(E)
Immediately mist and darkness came over him, and he groped about, seeking someone to lead him by the hand.
