9 But Saul, who was also known as Paul, [a](A)filled with the Holy Spirit, fixed his gaze on him, 10 and said, “You who are full of all deceit and fraud, you (B)son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease to make crooked (C)the straight ways of the [b]Lord? 11 Now, behold, (D)the hand of the [c]Lord is upon you, and you will be blind and not see the sun for a time.” And immediately a mist and a darkness fell upon him, and he went about seeking those who would lead him by the hand.

9 Then Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit,(A) looked straight at Elymas and said, 10 “You are a child of the devil(B) and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord?(C) 11 Now the hand of the Lord is against you.(D) You are going to be blind for a time, not even able to see the light of the sun.”(E)
Immediately mist and darkness came over him, and he groped about, seeking someone to lead him by the hand.
