16 Who allowed all the nations to be going their ways in the generations having gone-by. 17 And yet He did not leave Himself without-witness[a]: doing-good, giving you rains from heaven and fruitful[b] seasons, filling your hearts with food and gladness”. 18 And saying these things, with-difficulty they restrained[c] the crowds, that they might not offer-sacrifice to them.

16 In the past, he let(A) all nations go their own way.(B) 17 Yet he has not left himself without testimony:(C) He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons;(D) he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy.”(E) 18 Even with these words, they had difficulty keeping the crowd from sacrificing to them.
