Acts 14:16-18
Young's Literal Translation
16 who in the past generations did suffer all the nations to go on in their ways,
17 though, indeed, without witness He did not leave himself, doing good -- from heaven giving rains to us, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness;'
18 and these things saying, scarcely did they restrain the multitudes from sacrificing to them.

16 In the past, he let(A) all nations go their own way.(B) 17 Yet he has not left himself without testimony:(C) He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons;(D) he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy.”(E) 18 Even with these words, they had difficulty keeping the crowd from sacrificing to them.
