⁹ and ^(A)He made no distinction between us and them, ^(B)cleansing their hearts by faith.

¹⁸ to ^(A)open their eyes so that they may turn from ^(B)darkness to light, and from the ^[a]power of ^(C)Satan to God, that they may receive ^(D)forgiveness of sins and an ^(E)inheritance among those who have been sanctified by ^(F)faith in Me.’

^8 (A)Come close to God and He will come close to you. ^(B)Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and ^(C)purify your hearts, you ^(D)[a]double-minded.

³ And everyone who has this ^(A)hope set on Him ^(B)purifies himself, just as He is pure.

¹⁴ who ^(A)gave Himself for us ^(B)to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to ^(C)purify for Himself a ^(D)people for His own possession, ^(E)eager for good deeds.
