Timothy Joins Paul and Silas

16 Now Paul also arrived at ^(A)Derbe and at ^(B)Lystra. And behold, a disciple was there, named ^(C)Timothy, the son of a ^(D)Jewish woman who was a believer, but his father was a Greek,

¹⁷ For this reason I ^(A)have sent to you ^(B)Timothy, who is my ^(C)beloved and faithful child in the Lord, and who will remind you of my ways which are in Christ, ^(D)just as I teach everywhere in every church.
