13 On the Sabbath we went out of the city to the riverside, where we thought there would be a place where Jews gathered for prayer. We sat down and talked to the women who gathered there. 14 One of those who heard us was Lydia from Thyatira, who was a dealer in purple cloth. She was a woman who worshiped God, and the Lord opened her mind to pay attention to what Paul was saying. 15 After she and the people of her house had been baptized, she invited us, “Come and stay in my house if you have decided that I am a true believer in the Lord.” And she persuaded us to go.

We sat down and began to speak to the women who had gathered there. 14 One of those listening was a woman from the city of Thyatira(B) named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth. She was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart(C) to respond to Paul’s message. 15 When she and the members of her household(D) were baptized,(E) she invited us to her home. “If you consider me a believer in the Lord,” she said, “come and stay at my house.” And she persuaded us.
