13 And on (A)the Sabbath day we went outside the gate to a riverside, where we were supposing that there would be a place of prayer; and sitting down, we began speaking to the women who had assembled. 14 And a woman named Lydia, from the city of (B)Thyatira, a seller of purple fabrics, (C)a worshiper of God, was listening, whose heart the Lord (D)opened to pay attention to the things spoken by Paul. 15 And when she and (E)her household had been baptized, she urged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house and stay.” And she prevailed upon us.

We sat down and began to speak to the women who had gathered there. 14 One of those listening was a woman from the city of Thyatira(B) named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth. She was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart(C) to respond to Paul’s message. 15 When she and the members of her household(D) were baptized,(E) she invited us to her home. “If you consider me a believer in the Lord,” she said, “come and stay at my house.” And she persuaded us.
