9 And when they had taken security from Jason and the rest, they let them go.
Paul and Silas in Beroea
10 The brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Beroe′a; and when they arrived they went into the Jewish synagogue. 11 Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessaloni′ca, for they received the word with all eagerness, examining the scriptures daily to see if these things were so.

10 As soon as it was night, the believers sent Paul and Silas(B) away to Berea.(C) On arriving there, they went to the Jewish synagogue.(D) 11 Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica,(E) for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures(F) every day to see if what Paul said was true.(G)
