³ and because he was of the same trade he stayed with them, and ^(A)they worked together, for they were tent-makers by trade. ⁴ And Paul was reasoning ^(B)in the synagogue every ^(C)Sabbath and trying to persuade ^(D)Jews and Greeks.

⁵ But when ^(E)Silas and Timothy ^(F)came down from ^(G)Macedonia, Paul began devoting himself completely to the word, ^(H)testifying to the Jews that ^(I)Jesus was the ^[a]Christ.
