But when Silas and Timothy arrived from Macedonia, Paul devoted all his time to teaching the word of God. He assured the Jews that Yeshua is the Messiah. But they opposed him and insulted him. So Paul shook the dust from his clothes and told them, “You’re responsible for your own death. I’m innocent. From now on I’m going to people who are not Jewish.”

Then he left the synagogue and went to the home of a man named Titius Justus, who was a convert to Judaism. His house was next door to the synagogue.

When Silas(A) and Timothy(B) came from Macedonia,(C) Paul devoted himself exclusively to preaching, testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Messiah.(D) But when they opposed Paul and became abusive,(E) he shook out his clothes in protest(F) and said to them, “Your blood be on your own heads!(G) I am innocent of it.(H) From now on I will go to the Gentiles.”(I)

Then Paul left the synagogue and went next door to the house of Titius Justus, a worshiper of God.(J)
