24 For a man, Demetrius by name, a worker in silver, made silver houses to Diana, and gave to craftsmen much winning;[a]
25 which he called together [and] them that were such manner workmen [whom he called together, and them that were such manner workmen], and said, Men, ye know that of this craft winning is to us;
26 and ye see and hear, that this Paul counseleth and turneth away much people, not only of Ephesus, but almost of all Asia, and said, that they be not gods, that be made with hands.[b]

24 A silversmith named Demetrius, who made silver shrines of Artemis, brought in a lot of business for the craftsmen there. 25 He called them together, along with the workers in related trades, and said: “You know, my friends, that we receive a good income from this business.(A) 26 And you see and hear how this fellow Paul has convinced and led astray large numbers of people here in Ephesus(B) and in practically the whole province of Asia.(C) He says that gods made by human hands are no gods at all.(D)
