7 There were in all about twelve men.
8 And he entered (A)the synagogue and continued speaking out boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading them (B)about the kingdom of God. 9 But when (C)some were becoming hardened and disobedient, speaking evil of (D)the Way before the [a]people, he withdrew from them and took away (E)the disciples, reasoning daily in the school of Tyrannus.

New International Version
7 There were about twelve men in all.
8 Paul entered the synagogue(A) and spoke boldly there for three months, arguing persuasively about the kingdom of God.(B) 9 But some of them(C) became obstinate; they refused to believe and publicly maligned the Way.(D) So Paul left them. He took the disciples(E) with him and had discussions daily in the lecture hall of Tyrannus.
