7 Now the men were about twelve in all.
8 (A)And he went into the synagogue and spoke boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading (B)concerning the things of the kingdom of God. 9 But (C)when some were hardened and did not believe, but spoke evil (D)of the Way before the multitude, he departed from them and withdrew the disciples, reasoning daily in the school of Tyrannus.

New International Version
7 There were about twelve men in all.
8 Paul entered the synagogue(A) and spoke boldly there for three months, arguing persuasively about the kingdom of God.(B) 9 But some of them(C) became obstinate; they refused to believe and publicly maligned the Way.(D) So Paul left them. He took the disciples(E) with him and had discussions daily in the lecture hall of Tyrannus.
