7 And the men were about twelve in all.
8 And he went into the synagogue, and spoke boldly for the space of three months, teaching and giving them exhortations of the kingdom of God. 9 When some grew hardhearted and did not believe, but spoke evil of the Way, and that before the assembly, he departed from them and withdrew the disciples. And he held discussions daily in the school of one called Tyrannus.

New International Version
7 There were about twelve men in all.
8 Paul entered the synagogue(A) and spoke boldly there for three months, arguing persuasively about the kingdom of God.(B) 9 But some of them(C) became obstinate; they refused to believe and publicly maligned the Way.(D) So Paul left them. He took the disciples(E) with him and had discussions daily in the lecture hall of Tyrannus.
