27 Because thou wilt not [a]leave my soul in grave, neither wilt suffer thine Holy one to see corruption.
28 Thou hast [b]showed me the ways of life, and shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
29 Men and brethren, I may boldly speak unto you of the Patriarch David, (A)that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulcher remaineth with us unto this day.

27 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,
you will not let your holy one see decay.(A)
28 You have made known to me the paths of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence.’[a](B)
29 “Fellow Israelites,(C) I can tell you confidently that the patriarch(D) David died and was buried,(E) and his tomb is here(F) to this day.
