27 Because You will not forsake my soul to (A)Hades,
(B)Nor give Your [a]Holy One over to see corruption.
28 You have made known to me the ways of life;
You will make me full of gladness with Your presence.’
29 “Men, brothers, I may confidently say to you regarding the (C)patriarch David that he both (D)died and (E)was buried, and (F)his tomb is [b]with us to this day.

27 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,
you will not let your holy one see decay.(A)
28 You have made known to me the paths of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence.’[a](B)
29 “Fellow Israelites,(C) I can tell you confidently that the patriarch(D) David died and was buried,(E) and his tomb is here(F) to this day.
