29 Brethren, I may say unto you freely of the patriarch David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us unto this day. 30 Being therefore a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins [b]he would set one upon his throne;

29 “Fellow Israelites,(B) I can tell you confidently that the patriarch(C) David died and was buried,(D) and his tomb is here(E) to this day. 30 But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that he would place one of his descendants on his throne.(F)
