Acts 2:28-30
Good News Translation
28 You have shown me the paths that lead to life,
and your presence will fill me with joy.’
29 “My friends, I must speak to you plainly about our famous ancestor King David. He died and was buried, and his grave is here with us to this very day. 30 (A)He was a prophet, and he knew what God had promised him: God had made a vow that he would make one of David's descendants a king, just as David was.

29 “Fellow Israelites,(B) I can tell you confidently that the patriarch(C) David died and was buried,(D) and his tomb is here(E) to this day. 30 But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that he would place one of his descendants on his throne.(F)
