Acts 2:31-33

31 He, foreseeing this, spoke [by foreknowledge] of the resurrection of the Christ (the Messiah) that He was not deserted [in death] and left in Hades (the state of departed spirits), nor did His body know decay or see destruction.(A)
32 This Jesus God raised up, and of that all we [His disciples] are witnesses.
33 Being therefore lifted high by and to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father [a]the promised [blessing which is the] Holy Spirit, He has made this outpouring which you yourselves both see and hear.

New International Version
31 Seeing what was to come, he spoke of the resurrection of the Messiah, that he was not abandoned to the realm of the dead, nor did his body see decay.(A) 32 God has raised this Jesus to life,(B) and we are all witnesses(C) of it. 33 Exalted(D) to the right hand of God,(E) he has received from the Father(F) the promised Holy Spirit(G) and has poured out(H) what you now see and hear.
