31 David saw what was coming. So he spoke about the Messiah rising from the dead. He said that the Messiah would not be left in the place of the dead. His body wouldn’t rot in the ground. 32 God has raised this same Jesus back to life. We are all witnesses of this. 33 Jesus has been given a place of honor at the right hand of God. He has received the Holy Spirit from the Father. This is what God had promised. It is Jesus who has poured out what you now see and hear.

31 Seeing what was to come, he spoke of the resurrection of the Messiah, that he was not abandoned to the realm of the dead, nor did his body see decay.(A) 32 God has raised this Jesus to life,(B) and we are all witnesses(C) of it. 33 Exalted(D) to the right hand of God,(E) he has received from the Father(F) the promised Holy Spirit(G) and has poured out(H) what you now see and hear.
