⁴¹ So those who welcomed his message were baptized, and that day about three thousand persons were added.

⁴⁷ praising God and having the goodwill of all the people. And day by day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.^(A)

³⁵ They laid it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need.^(A)

²⁹ He spoke and argued with the Hellenists, but they were attempting to kill him.^(A)

²⁰ But among them were some men of Cyprus and Cyrene who, on coming to Antioch, spoke to the Hellenists^[a] also, proclaiming the Lord Jesus.^(A)
