Paul before the Council

23 Paul, looking intently at ^(A)the ^[a]Council, said, “^(B)Brethren, ^(C)I have ^[b]lived my life with a perfectly good conscience before God up to this day.”

¹⁰ You are witnesses, and so is ^(A)God, ^(B)how devoutly and uprightly and blamelessly we ^[a]behaved toward you ^[b]believers;

^18 (A)Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a ^(B)good conscience, desiring to conduct ourselves honorably in all things.
