Acts 23:10-12
New Living Translation
10 As the conflict grew more violent, the commander was afraid they would tear Paul apart. So he ordered his soldiers to go and rescue him by force and take him back to the fortress.
11 That night the Lord appeared to Paul and said, “Be encouraged, Paul. Just as you have been a witness to me here in Jerusalem, you must preach the Good News in Rome as well.”

12 The next morning a group of Jews[a] got together and bound themselves with an oath not to eat or drink until they had killed Paul.

New International Version
10 The dispute became so violent that the commander was afraid Paul would be torn to pieces by them. He ordered the troops to go down and take him away from them by force and bring him into the barracks.(A)
11 The following night the Lord stood near Paul and said, “Take courage!(B) As you have testified about me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome.”(C)
