34 So after[a] reading the letter[b] and asking what province he was from, and learning that he was from Cilicia, 35 he said, “I will give you a hearing whenever your accusers arrive also,” giving orders for him to be guarded in the praetorium[c] of Herod.

New International Version
34 The governor read the letter and asked what province he was from. Learning that he was from Cilicia,(A) 35 he said, “I will hear your case when your accusers(B) get here.” Then he ordered that Paul be kept under guard(C) in Herod’s palace.
