⁶ But Paul, perceiving that one group were ^(A)Sadducees and the other Pharisees, began crying out in ^(B)the ^[a]Council, “^[b](C)Brothers, ^(D)I am a Pharisee, a son of Pharisees; I am on trial for ^(E)the hope and resurrection of the dead!”

⁵ since they have known about me for a long time, if they are willing to testify, that I lived as a ^(A)Pharisee ^(B)according to the strictest ^(C)sect of our religion.

⁶ as to zeal, ^(A)a persecutor of the church; as to the ^(B)righteousness which is in the Law, found ^(C)blameless.
