The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. (A)This is the first resurrection. (B)Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the (C)second death has no power, but they will be (D)priests of God and of Christ, and will (E)reign with Him for a thousand years.

Satan Freed and Doomed

When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be (F)released from his prison, and will come out to (G)deceive the nations which are at the (H)four corners of the earth, (I)Gog and Magog, to (J)gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the (K)sand of the [a]seashore. And they (L)came up on the [b]broad plain of the earth and surrounded the (M)camp of the [c]saints and the (N)beloved city, and (O)fire came down from heaven and devoured them. 10 And (P)the devil who (Q)deceived them was thrown into the (R)lake of fire and [d]brimstone, where the (S)beast and the (T)false prophet are also; and they will be (U)tormented day and night forever and ever.

Judgment at the Throne of God

11 Then I saw a great white (V)throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose [e]presence (W)earth and heaven fled, and (X)no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, the (Y)great and the small, standing before the throne, and [f](Z)books were opened; and another [g]book was opened, which is (AA)the book of life; and the dead (AB)were judged from the things which were written in the [h]books, (AC)according to their deeds. 13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and (AD)Death and Hades (AE)gave up the dead who were in them; and they were judged, each one of them (AF)according to their deeds. 14 Then (AG)Death and Hades were thrown into (AH)the lake of fire. This is the (AI)second death, the lake of fire. 15 And if [i]anyone’s name was not found written in (AJ)the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
