Acts 27:37-39
English Standard Version
37 (We were in all 276[a] (A)persons in the ship.) 38 And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, (B)throwing out the wheat into the sea.

39 Now when it was day, (C)they did not recognize the land, but they noticed a bay with a beach, on which they planned if possible to run the ship ashore.

37 Altogether there were 276 of us on board. 38 When they had eaten as much as they wanted, they lightened the ship by throwing the grain into the sea.(A)
39 When daylight came, they did not recognize the land, but they saw a bay with a sandy beach,(B) where they decided to run the ship aground if they could.
