Acts 27:37-39
Good News Translation
37 There was a total of 276[a] of us on board. 38 After everyone had eaten enough, they lightened the ship by throwing all the wheat into the sea.

39 When day came, the sailors did not recognize the coast, but they noticed a bay with a beach and decided that, if possible, they would run the ship aground there.

New International Version
37 Altogether there were 276 of us on board. 38 When they had eaten as much as they wanted, they lightened the ship by throwing the grain into the sea.(A)
39 When daylight came, they did not recognize the land, but they saw a bay with a sandy beach,(B) where they decided to run the ship aground if they could.
