Threat and Release

¹³ Now as they observed the ^(A)confidence of ^(B)Peter and John and understood that they were uneducated and untrained men, they were amazed, and ^(C)began to recognize them ^[a]as having been with Jesus.

²⁹ And ^[a]now, Lord, look at their threats, and grant it to Your bond-servants to ^(A)speak Your word with all ^(B)confidence,

⁴ My ^(A)confidence ^[a]in you is great; my ^(B)boasting in your behalf is great. I am filled with ^(C)comfort; I am overflowing with ^(D)joy in all our affliction.

¹⁹ and ^(A)pray in my behalf, that speech may be given to me ^(B)in the opening of my mouth, to make known with ^(C)boldness ^(D)the mystery of the gospel,

² but after we had already suffered and been ^(A)treated abusively in ^(B)Philippi, as you know, we had the boldness in our God ^(C)to speak to you the ^(D)gospel of God ^[a]amid much ^[b](E)opposition.
