34 None of them needed anything. From time to time, people sold land or houses and brought the money 35 to the apostles. Then the money was distributed to anyone who needed it.
36 Joseph, a descendant of Levi, had been born on the island of Cyprus. The apostles called him Barnabas, which means “a person who encourages.”

34 that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them,(A) brought the money from the sales 35 and put it at the apostles’ feet,(B) and it was distributed to anyone who had need.(C)
