8 Then Peter, [a](A)filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “[b](B)Rulers and elders of the people, 9 if we are [c]being examined today for (C)a good deed done to a sick man, [d]as to how this man has been [e]saved from his sickness, 10 let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that [f](D)by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom (E)God raised from the dead—[g]by [h]this name this man stands here before you in good health.

8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit,(A) said to them: “Rulers and elders of the people!(B) 9 If we are being called to account today for an act of kindness shown to a man who was lame(C) and are being asked how he was healed, 10 then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth,(D) whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead,(E) that this man stands before you healed.
