¹⁹ But during the night ^(A)an angel of the Lord ^(B)opened the prison doors and brought them out, and said,

^3 (A)About the ninth hour of the day^{[a] (B)}he saw clearly in a vision ^(C)an angel of God come in and say to him, “Cornelius.”

¹³ And he told us how he had seen the angel stand in his house and say, ‘Send to Joppa and bring Simon who is called Peter;

⁷ And behold, ^(A)an angel of the Lord ^(B)stood next to him, and a light shone in the cell. ^(C)He struck Peter on the side and woke him, saying, “Get up quickly.” And ^(D)the chains fell off his hands.

²³ Immediately ^(A)an angel of the Lord struck him down, because ^(B)he did not give God the glory, and he was eaten by worms and breathed his last.
