Choosing of the Seven

6 Now ^[a]at this time, as the ^(A)disciples were ^(B)increasing in number, a complaint developed on the part of the ^[b](C)Hellenistic Jews against the native ^(D)Hebrews, because their ^(E)widows were being overlooked in ^(F)the daily serving of food.

³⁹ So Peter got ready and went with them. When he arrived, they brought him into the ^(A)room upstairs; and all the ^(B)widows stood beside him, weeping and showing all the ^[a]tunics and garments that Dorcas used to make while she was with them.

⁴¹ And he gave her his hand and raised her up; and calling ^(A)the ^[a]saints and ^(B)widows, he presented her alive.

³ Honor widows who are actually ^(A)widows;
