14 Then (A)Joseph sent word and invited Jacob his father and all his relatives to come to him, (B)seventy-five [a](C)persons in all. 15 And (D)Jacob went down to Egypt and there he and our fathers died. 16 And from there they were removed to [b](E)Shechem and placed in the tomb which Abraham had purchased for a sum of money from the sons of [c]Hamor in [d]Shechem.

14 After this, Joseph sent for his father Jacob and his whole family,(A) seventy-five in all.(B) 15 Then Jacob went down to Egypt, where he and our ancestors died.(C) 16 Their bodies were brought back to Shechem and placed in the tomb that Abraham had bought from the sons of Hamor at Shechem for a certain sum of money.(D)
